Jung-Woo Nam is a patent attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee IP and belongs to the Machinery Team at Bae, Kim & Lee IP.

He majored in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University and passed the Korean patent bar exam in 2012, and his main duties involve applying for patents and utility models, responding to office actions, and providing information on behalf of domestic and foreign clients such as companies, universities, and research institutes in the fields of automobiles, secondary batteries, medical equipment, tablet PCs, smart-phones, generators, water purifiers, lighting devices, fashion and beauty tools, etc. He also undertakes tasks related to trials and appeals against the IPTAB’s decision.

In addition, he actively participates in drafting responses against infringement disputes between domestic and foreign companies and in suggesting measures that can prohibit infringement.
