Overview

Tae Guen Kim is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group at BKL. Mr. Kim advises clients on various aspects of intellectual property, including patent and trademark enforcement and IP transactional matters. Having an electrical engineering background, Mr. Kim mainly handles disputes and licenses involving technology or patent. Mr. Kim also represents clients in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, acting as the Korea counsel to clients involved in litigation overseas.

Mr. Kim earned B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, completed the 37th JRTI course, and joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. He also obtained LL.M. degree from University of Southern California Gould School of Law since his admission to the Korean patent bar.
