Overview
Jiyoung Hwang was appointed as a judge immediately after completing the training courses at the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2011 and was reponsible for various cases including medical litigation, labor litigation and civil cases. Ms. Hwang joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in March 2013.
Ms. Hwang has mainly represented corporate clients in various large-scale civil, criminal and financial litigation cases based on the knowledge and experience she gained during her career as a judge. In particular, she successfully represented clients in cases involving embezzlement, breach of trust, violation of the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, etc. by the corporate management.
