Overview

Woojae Kim focuses on international arbitration and cross-boarder litigation including large-scale construction arbitration cases.

Mr. Kim completed his training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2009. He worked as a judge advocate for three years and as an attorney at Lee & Ko before joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2013.

Since joining BKL, Mr. Kim has handled various construction arbitration cases and has advised clients on numerous construction-related claims. He has also represented clients in investor-state disputes (ISD) including the ISD filed by Lone Star Funds against the Korean government. Mr. Kim also has experience representing clients in a number of international arbitration cases involving general corporate matters, post-M&A and energy issues.
