Overview

Yoon Jeong Park enjoys a unique status in the market being very few to have an English law background. Having worked as an in-house counsel at a major shipping company, Ms. Park has outstanding knowledge of and close network in the shipping and shipbuilding industry. She has extensive experience in all maritime related matters including shipbuilding, charterparty, international trade and ship finance, from both the contentious and non-contentious side.

Ms. Park has an excellent reputation in the contentious market having successfully acted for (i) major Korean shipyards/shipowners in many London arbitration proceedings (ii) foreign insurers/reinsurers in international arbitration and cross border disputes and (iii) traders and cargo owners in cross border disputes. Her expertise also extends to international arbitration and cross-border disputes involving major construction projects around the world, including Middle East, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and Russia.
