Overview
Chaewoong Lim mainly practices in inheritance, divorce, other family disputes, and trust and property management. Before joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2011, Mr. Lim worked as a judicial officer for 20 year: a research judge in Supreme Court of Korea, a professor in Judicial Research and Training Institute, a presiding judge in Seoul Central District Court, and a presiding judge in Seoul Family Court. Since practicing as a lawyer, he has focused his areas on all family issues, including inheritance and divorce, and property management.
In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Lim also earned an LL.D. at Seoul National University and published Research on the Law of Succession and two volumes of A Study on the Trust Act as part of his research on legal principles. He is a member of the Korean Society of Family Law, Korean Association of The Law of Civil Procedure, and Trust Forum.
