Summer Myungeun Oh is a Partner in the Corporate Litigation Team in Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). Since joining BKL in 2010, Ms. Oh has represented various corporate clients in civil, commercial and criminal cases. Based on her English and Chinese language skills, she represents both foreign and domestic corporate clients in litigations within or outside Korea. besides, she provides legal support services in product liability and corporate criminal cases. Her practice encompasses automobile industry (including electric cars and self-driving cars), financial industry (including cryptocurrency and blockchain), and healthcare indistry.

Ms. Oh earned her LL.B. from Korea University and was admitted to the Korean Bar in 2002. Subsequently, she earned M.A. degree in Philosophy focusing on philosophy of language from King's College London, and completed the 38th Judicial Research and Training Institute course in 2009. Further, she received her LL.M. from New York University School of Law and was admitted to the New York Bar. Whilst pursuing her LL.M. degree at New York University, she also worked as an intern at the New York Asian Women's Center in the U.S. to promote Asian women's human rights. In cases where there are no court precedents or where prior legal principles are required to be changed, she exhibited excellent performance by presenting a new perspective and logic based on her philosophical analytic ability and understanding of foreign law. Further, Ms. Oh is a member of the Pro Bon Commitee at BKL, actively engaging in pro bono activities involving, for example, support for international organization activities and migrants, by utilizing her English and Chinese language skills.
