Sado Shin

Overview

Sado Shin is a member of the Antitrust and Competition Team. Mr. Shin's major practice areas include advice on competition law, responses to Korea Fair Trade Commission's (KFTC) investigation, administrative litigation, and corporate rehabilitation.

Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2010, Mr. Shin has handled collusion cases (e.g. interest-rate collusion among life insurance companies and price collusion among commercial vehicle companies), cases regarding fair trade law, consultation on laws under the jurisdiction of the KFTC (e.g. large-scale retail stores law, subcontract law, franchise transactions law, labeling and advertising law, and terms and conditions regulation law), responses to the investigation of the KFTC, and the filing of administrative appeal. As an antitrust lawyer, he successfully carried out the corporate reorganization of construction company J by using fast-track system, which was a first for corporate reorganizations in the industry in Korea.

Mr. Shin assists comapnies regarding compliance management by lecturing compliance on internal trading and dealing with investigation for many comapnies.
