Hyun Choi was admitted to the Korean Bar and passed the National Higher Civil Service Examination on Government Administration, was specially appointed as chief criminal investigator (chief superintendent) with the police where he has worked for 23 years. Mr. Choi served as the commissioner of Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency, the investigation director and director for planning and coordination of the National Police Agency, the chief investigator of the Seoul and Gyeonggi Metropolitan Police Agency, the information section chief of the National Police Agency and other major positions in the information and planning divisions. He has accumulated the experience of superintending and directing the Seoul, Gyeonggi and National investigation police.
