Overview
Sangjae Lee is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Lee's practice mainly focuses on corporate restructuring (rehabilitation and workout), M&A, hostile takeovers & defense, and securities & financial litigation. Since joining in 2009, he has been advising on various issues in connection with corporate rehabilitation proceeding, workout and related disputes, and M&A. Furthermore, he represented clients in commercial and civil disputes, including those involving fund or other financial issues, large-scale development projects, corporate governance & hostile M&A, and trust.
Mr. Lee earned a B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University and completed the 38th Judicial Research and Training Institute course. Further, he earned an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law and was admitted to the bar of Illinois in 2015.
