Overview

Jae Gu Kim has successfully handled various issues for Japanese firms for years, including HR and labor issues, liquidation, restructuring, labor-management disputes, and union disputes. Mr. Kim has abundant experience in issues related to Japanese firms.

Mr. Kim graduated from Korea University (LL.B.), completed the course of Judicial Research and Training Institute, Supreme Court of Korea, and graduated from the University of Tokyo (LL.M.). After graduating the University of Tokyo, he worked for Matsuo & Kosugi in Tokyo and Mori Hamada & Matsumoto in Tokyo. Later, he worked at Kim & Chang, where he primarily handled HR and labor cases. He joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2019.

Currently, Mr. Kim also serves as a counselor for the Labor Committee of Seoul Japan Club.
