Seonchol Hwang is a senior advisor at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Hwang's practice mainly focuses on personal information protection and broadcasting communication. For 28 years, he served at the Ministry of Information and Communication, National Computing and Information Agency of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and Korea Communications Commission and worked on matters related to ICT policies including national information, policies to operate government IDC center, and investigation of the invasion of personal information protection. From 2014, he was recognized for his professionalism in the personal information protection area, proving the cause-and-effect relationship in Company K's large scale personal information leakage incident, between technical and administrative protection measures and personal information leakage. He received the third Public Official Award for such work.

Based on these hands-on experiences, Mr. Hwang is advising and representing clients in cases involving the use and protection of personal information.
