Overview
Hyeongbae Kim has worked on a great number of cases across the areas of corporate criminal affairs, litigation, compliance, management rights, antitrust and competition, labor and employment, finance, and trade secret disputes for Japanese companies. Mr. Kim is active in various areas of crisis management, including responding to a number of major social and economic incidents, representing suspects in interrogations before detention and defense at trial, and advising Japanese companies on compliance.
Mr. Kim earned a B.A. in Japanese Language and Literature from Korea University, a J.D. from Hanyang University School of Law before joining Bae, Kim & Lee. He also obtained an LL.M. in Legal Studies from Waseda University Graduate School of Law and worked at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
