Overview

Minjo Kim is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Based on the experience in various litigation and advisory cases involving financial investment, debt collection, management control disputes, labor disputes, etc., Mr. Kim has advised and represented Japanese companies in civil and criminal disputes for many years in the areas ranging from the entry into the Korean market, internal compliance, human resources and labor, M&A (share transfer, business transfer, etc.) and restructuring, to liquidation or closure.

Mr. Kim has kept in close contact with Korean Bar Association, Japan Federation of Bar Associations, Lawyers Association of Zainichi Korean (LAZAK), and Japanese law firms by using Japanese that he learned while studying at the middle school and the high school in Japan, and he is also active externally by holding seminars and conducting internal training regarding various themes that may arise in Korea such as internal compliance and human resources and labor systems in the expatriate community in Japan including the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Seoul Japan Club.
