Overview

Seung Jin Choi has mainly provided advice and engaged in litigation with regard to workout, corporate rehabilitation and bankruptcy since 2002. Mr. Choi has plenty of experience in M&A resulting from workout or rehabilitation proceedings litigation cases involving sharp conflicts between the interests of the parties, and has successfully performed advisory services on rehabilitation of large corporate groups. In addition to the bankruptcy area, he is also well recognized for his capabilities in resolving various disputes relating to trust, finance, large development projects and management right.

Mr. Choi earned LL.B. from Korea University in 1994, was admitted to the Korean Bar in 1996, and completed the 28th Judicial Research & Training Institute course. Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2002, he also completed the legal experts' course (Bankruptcy Law) held by Seoul National University in 2006 and earned an LL.M. degree from Indiana University Law School in the US in 2007.
