Overview

Annie Eunah Lee is a senior foreign attorney in Bae, Kim & Lee LLC's Finance Group. Ms. Lee is a leading practitioner in banking and finance. She concentrates on acquisition finance and advises on a broad range of financings for many of the Firm's leading private equity and corporate clients.

Ms. Lee has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors in many significant acquisition financings, including Oriental Brewery, Loen Entertainment, Lock & Lock, CJ CGV, SK Holdings, KB Financial Group and Shinhan Financial Group. Her practice also includes project finance, capital markets, and debt rescheduling. Annie has advised on several landmark project finance transactions, including the financing of nuclear power plant in the UAE, which deal received the Global Finance Deal of the Year: Projects (Middle East) by The American Lawyer in 2017, and the development and financing of run-of-the-river hydroelectric power generation facility in Pakistan. Annie also regularly advises issuers and underwriters in connection with a broad range of public and private debt, equity and equity-linked offerings. As an expert in the areas of asset-based financing and capital markets, she has extensive experience advising domestic and international financial institutions in all aspects of cross-border financing transactions. She started her career at White & Case's New York Office in 1990, and joined BKL in 1992. She has been recognized by Chambers Asia Pacific (2020) as Leading Individual and is also a repeat honoree of IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer - Highly Regarded. In addition, she is recognized by Who's Who Legal: Project Finance. Annie has contributed to Getting the Deal Through: Acquisition Finance - Korea Chapter. She is a graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D. 1990) and Ewha Womans University (B.A. 1987). She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1991.
