Overview
Myungjae Lee is an of counsel at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). Mr. Lee's main practice focuses on all criminal matters, such as white-collar crime and criminal litigation.
Mr. Lee is a former prosecutor general who held a number of key positions during his 26-year career in the prosecution, including chief prosecutor of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, director of the Central Investigation Department of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea, and chief prosecutor of several district prosecutors' offices, among others. He was appointed as prosecutor general in 2001 during his time at BKL. Since rejoining BKL after taking office as prosecutor general, he has handled a broad spectrum of criminal and civil affairs involving public officials and leading corporations.
Currently serving as the director of Shinhan Scholarship Foundation, Mr. Lee also participates in activities and programs to improve social welfare.
