Sonia Won is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, mainly focusing on asset management (including fund registrations for both retail investors and professional investors and fund document diligence), securities and financial regulations. She is currently based in BKL's Hong Kong office.
Prior to joining BKL, she worked as Registered Foreign Lawyer at the debt capital markets team of Clifford Chance (Hong Kong) from 2010 to 2015. She worked as inspector in the Financial Supervisory Service in 2005, and started her career as a lawyer/litigator at Barun Law LLC in 2008. She received her LL.B. degree from Korea University in 2002. She is a member of the Seoul Bar and the California Bar.
