Cheolhyo Ahn focuses his practice on M&As, outbound investments (particularly in South-East Asia), real estate projects and development and operation of hotels.

As a senior foreign attorney specializing in outbound investments, Mr. Ahn advised POSCO, CJ, and Shinsegae on complicated M&A transactions and joint venture projects in South-East Asia; financial institutions, including KB Bank, Lotte Card and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, on M&A deals with local financial institutions. Additionally, he has built extensive experience and knowledge in construction and operation of hotels. He obtained a B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University, M.B.A. from Michigan University School of Business and J.D. from Emory University School of Law. Before joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2015, he worked at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in New York, Yulchon LLC and Yahoo Korea & Overture Korea.
