Overview

Junhyun Song is a partner specializing in fair competition and antitrust area. Mr. Song advises clients on merger filings, international cartels, and abuse of dominant position and represents clients in damages suits.

Mr. Song has achieved great performance representing domestic and foreign companies in business combination cases in various industrial fields including electronics, shipbuilding, aviation and pharmaceuticals. Also, he provides profound advice based on his considerable professional experience with the latest fair trade issues including regulation of large business groups, such as the ban on abuse of dominant position, information exchange cartel, and private profit-taking in relation to patent, big data, platform, etc.

Mr. Song completed the 37th course of the Judicial Research and Training Institute and earned his LL.M. from Duke University School of Law. He worked for Steptoe & Johnson LLP at its Washington D.C. office as a visiting lawyer and was selected for one of 40 Excellent Lawyers Under 40 in Asia by ALB (Asian Legal Business) in 2017.
