Overview

Sung Won Park's practice focuses on shipping and insurance litigation, international arbitration, cross-border litigation, and financial affairs.

Mr. Park primarily handles disputes involving maritime accidents such as ship collision or oil pollution accidents, disputes over bills of lading and charterparty, and insurance matters. He mainly represented domestic or overseas International Group of P&I Clubs, ship owners and insurers and successfully handled the cases involving large-scale ship collision, oil pollution and cargo damage accidents, seafarer disaster, charterparty disputes and insurance.

Mr. Park earned an LL.B. from Seoul National University in 1994 and completed the 28th Judicial Research and Training Institute course. Since 2002, he had worked as an attorney specializing in maritime affairs at Law Offices Choi & Kim before joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2022.
