Overview
Jeonghwan Kim's practice focuses on advising and representing clients in criminal cases involving competition law, corporate funds, securities and finance, serious accidents, and the bio-health industry as well as in litigation involving inter-Korean matters.
Mr. Kim not only has extensive experience of investigating into corporate and financial crimes as he was primarily responsible for special cases and engaged in investigation teams of conglomerates and major economic events while working as a prosecutor for 15 years, but also accumulated specialized expertise by investigating cases involving major companies' anti-trust and competition, unfair support, supporting subsidiaries with volumes of trade, and price-fixing and cases involving serious accidents, safety of citizens, and bio-health while serving as deputy senior prosecutor of the Anti-trust and Competition Investigation Department and Food and Drug Crime Department in the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and as a prosecutor of the Special Investigation Department in the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. He also specialized in North Korean issues such as inter-Korean exchange and cooperation, nuclear problem based on his experience at the Unification Legal Affairs Division of the Ministry of Justice and studied legal issues about integration for unification, exchange and cooperation in Germany and the U.S..
