Overview
Michael Suh, senior foreign attorney licensed in Germany, is a trusted advisor to multinational companies on corporate matters in the automotive, healthcare, technology, manufacturing and other key industry sectors. He primarily focuses on corporate/M&A and assisted numerous clients, mainly from Europe, with establishing a presence in Korea, entering into cross-border joint ventures with a Korean partner or executing commercial agreements with Korean companies. His distinct knowledge of the EU/German and Korean law and his fluent trilingual communication skills (English, Korean, German) enable him to provide strategic cross-border advice to domestic and multinational companies.
Mr. Suh advises on various areas of law, which are of most relevance for international clients in Korea, such as corporate, employment, IP, tax in close cooperation with the respective experts at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. He joined BKL in 2014 and is a senior foreign attorney since 2019. In 2020, he was seconded to CMS Hasche Sigle in Munich and Frankfurt.
