Overview
Kwangmin Rhy's professional practice areas include energy, resources, industry and regulation consulting, etc.
Mr. Rhy was in charge of power generation business approval and IPP management, etc. at the Korea Electricity Commission, and carried out anti-dumping investigations about Taiwan DTY, etc. and trade remedy policy at the Korea Trade Commission. As legal counsel to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, he advised the Ministry on its laws and decrees and represented the Ministry in litigations as well as advised its controlled public institutions and civil energy corporations. Currently, he still serves the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as the Free Economic Zone Committee Member and the Regulatory Reform Committee Member, and also serves the Korea Electricity Commission as Legal Dispute Mediation Committee Member.
