Overview

Jaehoon Ryu is in charge of civil, criminal, family, and other litigations based on his abundant judicial experiences.

Mr. Ryu graduated summa cum laude from the Seoul National University (LL.B.), finished the 32nd term of the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea, started his professional career as judge, Busan District Court in 2006 and continued his career as judge for sixteen years until he retired from the high court judge of Daejeon High Court in 2022. He joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2022. In particular, during five years before retirement as judge, he handled with a number of significant civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings as appeal judge of the Seoul High Court and the Daejeon High Court. He has researched and examined in depth special economic crimes, violations of the Capital Market Act, corruption crimes, and violations of the Public Official Election Act and the Political Fund Law, etc.
