Overview

Wonyoung Chung is a partner of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. She mainly engages in resolution of disputes over infringement of intellectual property rights, provides advice on foreign lawsuits for Korean companies and management strategies relating to intellectual property rights for Japanese companies.

She graduated from Department of Applied Chemistry, College of Engineering, Kobe University, and She earned a master’s degree from Graduate School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, KAIST. Based on her knowledge and experience in chemical engineering, bio and medicine areas, she represents and advises Korean and Japanese companies in relation to intellectual property rights. She graduated from Chungnam National University Law School and passed the 1st Korean Bar Examination. Before joining BKL, she worked at a law firm specialized in intellectual property rights for about four and a half years and completed the 9th training course of the Patent Training Institute.
