Overview
BKL’s Latin America Task Force Team is composed of attorneys with vast experience, cultural and legal knowledge, as well as key local contacts and native fluency in Spanish and Portuguese that no other law firm in Korea can offer.
Our Latin America TFT attorneys have ample expertise stemming from a diverse range of projects in the region including construction, joint-ventures, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution (arbitration/litigation), and tax and other regulatory matters. In addition, our key attorneys have lived in Latin America and worked at top law firms in Brazil and Mexico, thus also being able to provide valuable and difference-making advice and important cultural insights.
We have close relationships with top law firms throughout Latin America. Moreover, BKL is a member of World Law Group (an invitation-only global network of top independent full-service law firms established in 1988), and we have collaborated with leading firms in Latin America in the past on several landmark projects.
For each project, our Latin America TFT collaborates closely with BKL’s other practice groups in order to provide high-quality and comprehensive advice to our clients in a variety of transactions in the region ranging from general corporate advice and contract review to complex investment structuring and project finance operations. Our clients include public and private companies, private equity firms and financial sponsors, investment banks, government entities, as well as other institutions and individuals.
