BKL has worked extensively with REITs since the enactment of the Real Estate Investment Company Act in 2001 and possesses unsurpassed experience in REITs. In particular, in a string of successful projects involving the public offering and listing of REITs since 2018, BKL has the most extensive experience and expertise in the field. With regards to real estate collective investment schemes, BKL offers comprehensive advisory services that encompass the establishment and operation of real estate funds and REITs, the acquisition of requisite approvals and licenses and compliance with asset management and financial regulations. We also have a strong track record of advising clients on real estate development projects that leverage PFVs or management-type and loan-type land trusts.
