Ingi Min provides legal services mainly in relation to intellectual property rights, such as patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret. Mr. Min has extensive experience not only in handling disputes over such conventional intellectual property rights as patent and trademark, but also performing tasks that involve the entertainment and sports industries or are related to licensing. He is thus capable of providing his clients with legal services that are both in-depth and comprehensive.
Mr. Min's variety of legal services have benefited, particularly major Korean entertainment management companies, including Big Hit Entertainment and SM Entertainment. He also provided legal advice on the all aspects of the Korea-China joint film production project carried out by CJ E&M, Showbox and other major Korean film companies.
Mr. Min has been providing legal advice to major film producers and distributors on various disputes arising in relation to film production and distribution. In addition, based on a deep understanding of the industry's practice, he has been providing in-depth legal advice on major issues in the industry of OTT service providers such as Watcha, and other legal issues that may arise throughout the business using content. In this way, Mr. Min provides legal services specialized in the content business field based on his extensive practical experience accumulated through providing advisory services in the content industry for a long time.
Mr. Min has also served as a legal advisor to the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games for several years, providing various legal advice to protect intellectual property rights. Through this, he played a part in the successful hosting of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, a global sports event. He earned his LL.B. degree from Korea University in 1998 and completed the 32nd Judicial Research and Training Institute course in 2003.
