概要
Youngbo Noh is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Noh's practice areas include lawsuits involving finance, companies, corporate criminal matters, and insolvency.
After completing the 10th Judicial Research and Training Institute course, Mr. Noh started his career as a judge at Seoul Civil District Court in 1983. After that, he worked as a chief judge in Cheonan Branch of Daejeon District Court, as a professor in Judicial Research and Training Institute, as a director general of Registry Bureau in Office of Court Administration, as a presiding judge in Daejeon High Court and retired as a presiding judge from Seoul High Court. Practicing as a lawyer, he has served as an adjunct professor of bankruptcy law at Seoul National University School of Law since 2003.
Mr. Noh is known for obtaining not-guilty verdicts in many criminal cases, e.g., Hyundai Motors' secret fund case, case involving the sale of Korea Exchange Bank at a giveaway price, case involving the violation of the Securities and Exchanges Act by an officer of a conglomerate, bribery case of a member of the National Assembly named Kim, bribery case of a representative director named Kim for IT systems in Korea Investment Co., Ltd., bribery case of a senior secretary in Cheongwadae and the case involving the acceptance of property through mediation by the representative of a tax firm. He was designated as a Korea's foremost advocate by Chambers Asia.
