Myungkyu Lee is a partner and a member of the Intellectual Property Team at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Since Mr. Lee began practicing as a lawyer in 2008, his practice focuses on advising and representing clients in litigation cases involving intellectual property rights including, among other things, patent and trademark infringements and claim for cancellation of court decision.

Mr. Lee was able to be exposed to intellectual property law for eight years when he worked in Patent Court (as a judge), Supreme Court of Korea (as a research judge, of the IP Department), Incheon District Court (as a presiding judge of the IP Specialized Department), etc. for 16 years. Based on such vast experience, he also gave lectures regarding trademark law and unfair competition prevention law in the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Supreme Court of Korea and regarding intellectual property lawsuits in Korea University Graduate School of Law. From 2009 to 2015, he served as a member of the Trade Commission under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, which plays the same role as the USITC, and was also appointed as an arbitrator of the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board in 2013.
