Jongsik Bang focuses his practice on environment, chemicals, and climate change. Prior to joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2012, Mr. Bang worked at the Ministry of Environment for 17 years, where he handled major environmental issues at the Waste Resources Management Division, Air Quality Management Bureau, Water Environment Policy Division, Environmental Health Bureau and the Nature Conservation Bureau as deputy director and director. Drawing upon extensive experience and knowledge built during his time at the Ministry of Environment, he advises and represents clients in environmental matters. Recently, he has successfully advised clients on a wide range of environmental matters, including chemical accidents, energy-environment, waste recycling and soil pollution.
