Kwangyun Seol focuses his practice on, among others, the defense industry/national defense procurement, disputes over government procurement contracts, aviation/space industries, administrative litigation, consultancy on legislation, general civil/criminal litigation, and M&A. Mr. Seol served the army as a judicial advocate for ten years, working at various army-related organizations from the Combat Force Management Corps of the Army Headquarters (currently integrated into the Defense Acquisition Program Administration), Ministry of Defense, Army Headquarters, and to Defense Acquisition Program Administration—during which he gained experience in participating in the procedures for execution of international treaties or agreements, serving as a military judge, and reviewing and conducting litigation over the State's contracts. Based on the expertise gained during the ten-year military service, he advises on public procurement, defense industry, and military law.

Mr. Seol earned a LL.B. from Yonsei University and completed a judicial training course at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. Currently, he is an external commissioner of the Planning and Management Committee for Defense Industry.
