概要

Sangmin Kim is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Kim earned an LL.B. from Seoul National University in 2004, and completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute course in 2008. He completed his 3-year service as a judge advocate of Republic of Korea Air Force before joining the Labor and Employment Practice Group at BKL in 2011.

Mr. Kim earned an LL.M. from the Notre Dame Law School in 2017 and was admitted to the bar of New York in 2019. He has a wide range of expertise in employment and labor, and represented clients in connection with dismissals, illegal worker dispatch issues, wage-related disputes, wage reform, collective bargaining, collective dismissals, etc. In 2018, he was recognized by Asian Legal Business in its annual ‘40 Under 40’ list as one of 40 outstanding legal professionals in Asia under the age of 40. Further, he also was recognized by Korea Economic Daily as ‘2022 Best Lawyers’ in the Labor & Employment categories. He was also recognized by Legal Times as one of the ‘Lawyers of the Year’ in the Labor and Employment Practice Area in 2023. He also was recognized by The Law Times as Best Lawyer in 2024 Korea Annual Law Firm Consumer Report.
