Chikyu Sim was admitted to the Korean Bar and is an attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Sim has vast experience in matters relating to labor and employment, industrial accidents and occupational safety, compliance and internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions, and antitrust/competition.

Mr. Sim obtained his undergraduate degree in the U.S., and given his background and work experience outside of Korea and ample involvement in cross-border matters, Mr. Sim focuses in representing and assisting multinational companies on a broad range of complex regulatory and legal issues.

Prior to joining BKL, Mr. Sim served as a public service judge advocate at the Ministry of Justice and at Korea Legal Aid Corporation, and acted as counsel in a variety of civil, criminal, and administrative litigations. Further, he has worked outside of Korea including at the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and at Kobre & Kim LLP in Hong Kong.

Mr. Sim graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Industrial and Labor Relations and earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Yonsei University Law School in Korea.
