Wook Yoo focuses his practice on administrative litigation, constitutional litigation, legislative and regulatory consulting, environment, defense industry, public contracts, public interest foundations/non-profit corporations, and North Korea.

After joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 1993, Mr. Yoo mainly addressed administrative litigations for five years, and then corporate matters including Samsung Motors' M&A for ten years after 1999. Since 2010 when he organized the Legislation & Administration Team, he has advised the National Assembly and the Government on their legislation, etc.

Mr. Yoo organized the Defense Industry Team in 2012 where he is responsible for providing legal advice on the defense industry. He also took the leading role in the Environment Team on the same year, and has advised his clients on the Environment Act, including air, soils, and water quality, etc.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yoo organized the North Korea Team in 2002. Up to date since 2003, he has provided various relevant institutions and other clients, such as Ministry of Unification and Hyundai Asan, with legal advice on the matters for the inter-Korean economic cooperation including the Gaeseong Industrial Complex and Mount Kumgang.

Mr. Yoo has been a pioneer in the pro bono activities of the law firm by establishing BKL's Pro Bono Committee in 2001 and leading the establishment of the Dongcheon Foundation in 2009. Currently, as the director of the Dongcheon Foundation and the head of the Housing Justice Center, he is focusing on creating a public interest law environment.

Mr. Yoo is currently serving as an advisor at the National Court Administration, Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Unification, etc.
