概要

Yangho Oh is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL), who has been with the firm for over 20 years. Mr. Oh's practice focuses on advising corporate clients in areas of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), broadcasting, energy, and legislation.

Since joining BKL in 1989, Mr. Oh has successfully handled, among others, the international arbitration over CDMA royalty between Korea's Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and Qualcomm; sale of Daewoo Motors; restructuring and division of Daewoo Heavy Industries; reorganization of the structure of electro-refining industry; restructuring of foreign bonds of KEPCO; privatization of KT; SKT's merger with Shinsegi Telecom; and KT's merger with KTF.

Mr. Oh served as a legal advisor and a member of the advisory committee for government agencies, including the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (now called the Ministry of Science and ICT) and the Korea Communications Commission. He served as a legal advisor to large Korean companies, such as KEPCO, KT, SKT, and SBS, and is a member of the Management Normalization Committee for Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering. He earned an LL.B. from Seoul National University and completed the Judicial Research and Training Institute course. He earned an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and was admitted to the New York Bar.
