Yeun Geun Jeong accumulated in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of health insurance during his time in the National Health Insurance Service of Korea. Mr. Jeong earned a B.A. degree in Sociology from Chonnam National University. He worked as the head of Insurance Benefit Department, the director of Drug Price Negotiation Department, and the head of Jongno Branch at the NHIS for more than 30 years and performed various negotiations for drug prices, including risk-sharing agreement for expensive new drugs. In 2022, Mr. Jeong joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC and provides advice on registration of drugs with respect to drug price negotiation, etc.
