概要
Namsu Kim once served at the Financial Supervisory Service and financial companies where he accumulated extensive experience. Based on such experience, he is now responsible for authorizations and permits for financial institutions, financial regulations, inspections of financial companies, and fintech and financial security.
Mr. Kim worked at LG CNS for four years where he was in charge of network and security services, and thereafter worked at Hanwha Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. for eight years where he accumulated practical experience in the financial IT field, performing IT and information security planning and IT compliance response for the securities firm.
While working for eight years in different teams of the Financial Supervisory Service including the Digital Finance Supervision Department, IT & Financial Information Protection Department, IT Examination Department, and Fintech Innovation Office, Mr. Kim also conducted IT inspection of financial companies and electronic financial business operators (comprehensive inspection, IT status evaluation, etc.) and supervision of digital finance (response to supervisory issues under the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, regular IT monitoring, and review of registration for electronic financial business) and also actively engaged in the task force team for the amendment to the Electronic Financial Transactions Act.
Based on such practical experience in IT at the financial companies and in IT inspection and supervision at the Financial Supervisory Service, Mr. Kim provides substantial advice on pending issues for financial companies to help resolve them based on a balanced perspective of financial companies and supervisory authorities.
