Jaein Lee's main practice focuses on financial regulation and authorizations of financial institutions, response to the investigation and inspection by financial institutions, M&A of financial institutions and FinTech. As a former officer of the Department of Fair Market and the Department of Bank of Financial Services Commission taking charge of sanctions on the violation of financial regulation and amendment of legislations, Ms. Lee has expertise in policies and legal practice regarding financial regulation. 

Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, Ms. Lee took charge of establishment project of financial institutions and M&A including the merger between Korea Exchange Bank and Hana Bank, the approval of change of major shareholder of Tongyang Securities (Yuanta Securities), the approval of change of major shareholder of Hyundai Life (Fubon Group), the establishment of Kakao Bank and the change of major shareholder into Kakao. She actively serves as a government consultant such as examiner of statute interpretation of Financial Services Commission.
