Jun Ki Park is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC focusing on anti-corruption & compliance, white collar defense & internal investigations, environmental, social and governance (ESG), occupational safety∙serious accidents response, and arbitration & cross-border litigation.
Mr. Park advises clients on corporate investigations and white collar criminal defense. He frequently represents Korean and multi-national corporations and their executives regarding multi-jurisdictional regulatory investigations on various issues including suspected violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He also represents diverse domestic and foreign clients in complex cross-border civil and criminal litigations.
Mr. Park specializes in a range of compliance and compliance-related issues including ESG advice, global investigations, risk governance framework and anti-bribery compliance. He acts for corporate and financial institution clients on these issues and has supported clients in the implementation of their compliance programs. He has also served as a strategic advisor to clients and has provided integrated solutions in mitigating compliance risks and navigating legal opportunities and challenges relating to various compliance considerations, including occupational safety issues and measures to prevent serious industrial/public accidents.
Mr. Park currently serves on the ESG Special Committee of the Seoul Bar Association and the KOSDAQ Listing Committee of the Korea Exchange. He received his B.A. from Harvard College in 1995, and received his LL.M. from Columbia Law School in 2013. He is admitted to the Korean Bar.
