Gi Sik Kim's main practice focuses on real estate financing/indirect investment in real estate, private placement investment, securitized and structured finance, project finance, M&A of financial institutions and restructuring, and corporate M&A.

Mr. Kim handled various finance matters throughout his career, which include, among other things, financing for development and acquisition of Renaissance Hotel (KRW 1.35 billion), project financing for Sewoon District 6-3-1 (KRW 780 billion), financing for acquisition by SeAH Besteel of POSCO Special Steel, financing for acquisition by IMM PE of Taihan Electric Wire, acquisition of AIG New York Headquarters Building by Kumho Investment Bank, and acquisition of the equity shares in U.S. Parallel by Korea Investment Management.

Mr. Kim earned an LL.B. from Korea University, completed the 26th Judicial Research and Training Institute Course. He further earned an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law and was admitted to the bar of New York.
