Jongwook Lee's practice mainly focuses on corporate M&A and general civil cases. Beginning his career as a judge at the Seoul Civil District Court, Mr. Lee assumed several major positions at various courts and the National Court Administration. He retired as a presiding judge at the Seoul High Court and joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 1999 as managing partner.

Mr. Lee served as a memeber of the Administrative Appeals Commission at the Office of the Prime Minister, a mediator at the Seoul Central District Court, and a director, of Gangnam Foundation for Arts & Culture. He is currently a director of the Development Fund of Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Dental Hospital and of Shinhan Financial Group Hope Foundation. He earned his LL.B. from Seoul National University and completed the 1st Judicial Research and Training Institute course.
