Jeong Han Lee specializes in advice and litigation of labor and employment, corporate M&A, insurance, etc.

For more than 30 years of his experience as a practicing attorney, Mr. Lee has advised on various labor and employment law issues and matters, including drafting employment agreement and employment rule, handling labor unions and labor disputes, and advising on the restructuring of workforces to many domestic and foreign clients. He has also represented a broad base of clients at the various levels of the court system, as well as in front of the Labor Relations Commission, in cases such as wrongful dismissals, wage claims and validity of the employment related documents. Notably, he has won several Korean Supreme Court cases which are now regarded as precedents for the relevant labor and employment law issues that were involved in the cases.

Mr. Lee has served as a commissioner of National Labor Relations Commission, as a mediator for Labor Disputes of the Seoul Central District Court, as a legal advisor of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and as a member of the Regulatory Reform Committee of the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Also, he is the author of a number of articles and publications on Korean labor and employment law and practice, and is a frequent lecturer or speaker on employment and labor law issues.

Mr. Lee received his legal education at Seoul National University and Tulane Law School (LL.M.). He was a visiting attorney at Burke & Parsons, New York, and Sinclair Roche & Temperley, London.
