Joanne (Jeong-Yeon) Bae's practice focuses on international arbitration and international litigation in various industries, including construction, M&A, insurance, IP and licensing, and she also advises on a wide range of related matters. Ms. Bae has represented clients in international arbitration cases under the major arbitration rules, including the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC), London Court of International Arbitration, Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), as well as ad hoc arbitration proceedings, and, in particular, she has extensive experience in disputes involving complex technical issues. 

Ms. Bae earned an LL.B. from Seoul National University and a J.D. from Yonsei University Law School. Prior to joining the International Arbitration and Litigation Group of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2016, she advised global clients on a wide range of matters in the pharmaceutical and regulatory sectors.
