Seongho Moon mainly practices in the areas of constitutional, administrative and criminal litigation and matters involving Japan. Mr. Moon worked for 17 years as a judge until he retired as a presiding judge at Gyeongju Branch of Daegu District Court in 2021, and handled not only civil and criminal cases, but also a wider range of trials regarding administration, bankruptcy and preservation. He handled a number of administrative cases at Seoul Administrative Court and other courts and was in charge of public law litigation and assisted administrative litigation as a deputy director general for judicial policy at the Office of Court Administration. At the University of Tokyo, he studied administrative litigation law and labor law as a visiting researcher of the School of Legal and Political Studies. While serving as a judge, Mr. Moon gave lecture on public law litigation to new appointed and experienced judges at the Judicial Research and Training Institute and authored practical books theses regarding bankruptcy law, labor law, and administrative litigation law.
