Joon Hyung Ahn is a patent attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee IP. He graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2011 and passed the Korean Patent Bar Exam in 2020.

Since joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Ahn has been dealing with all aspects of patent prosecution on behalf of domestic and foreign clients such as companies, universities and research institutes, focusing on the fields of chemical/chemical processes, petrochemicals products/technologies, polymer materials/nano materials/electronic materials, secondary batteries/renewable energy/catalyst technology, and so on.

Further, based on his past project experiences and his career as a plant operation engineer at Samsung Engineering Co. Ltd., he is able to suggest practical and effective patent strategies for petrochemical/power plants.
