Minkyu Yang studied Law at Sungkyunkwan University, finished the training program at Judicial Research and Training Institute, and worked as law clerk for the 1st Civil Division, the 1st Criminal Division, and the 1st Administrative Division at Changwon Department for the Busan High Court before he joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in March 2021.
