BKL Ranks Among “The Global 200” for the Ninth Consecutive Year
For the ninth consecutive year, Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (“BKL”) has ranked among “The Global 200,” published annually by The American Lawyer, an ALM publication. The Global 200 ranks the world’s largest law firms by gross revenue and also tracks key financial metrics including profits per equity partner. BKL ranked 193rd by gross revenue in the 2026 Global 200, moving up five places from the previous year, and was one of only two Korean law firms included in this year’s rankings.
The ranking follows a year of strong growth for BKL, which recorded approximately 12% year-on-year revenue growth in 2025.
BKL continues to deliver strong results in large-scale, complex disputes and cross-border transactions. Following its successful representation of the Republic of Korea in the Lone Star ISDS annulment proceedings, BKL secured another complete victory for the Korean government this year in the Schindler ISDS case. BKL has also advised on major domestic and international M&A transactions, overseas investments and joint ventures.
The firm is also strengthening its capabilities in AI and other future growth areas. BKL recently launched its AI Infrastructure Strategy Center to provide integrated advice on AI data centers and related projects, while deploying Harvey and ChatGPT Enterprise across the firm to further enhance the quality and efficiency of its legal services.
