Dong Hwi Yi is a patent attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee IP. Since joining the firm in 2023, he has been working mainly in the field of mechanical engineering.

Mr. Yi performs tasks such as filing procedures of patents and utility models, responding to office actions, searching and analyzing and filing third party submissions, on behalf of domestic and foreign clients such as companies, universities and research institutes, focusing on the fields of secondary batteries/renewable energy, automobiles/mobility, naval architecture, and construction machinery.

He graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and passed the Korean Patent Attorney Bar Exam in 2020.
